...it all began in the 60's
My interest in cars started in the early 60's after becoming bored (and wet) with my Vespa 150 GS Scooter days!
My first car - a Ford Popular - was purchased for seven pound ten shillings (before I had a driving licence) and needed a clutch plate which did present a challenge to me - never looked under the bonnet of a car let alone lay a spanner on one! It took a couple of attempts - gearbox out twice before I got it right. I very quickly exchanged the Pop for a Rover 14, passed my driving test and embarked on a lifetime of owning interesting cars beginning with early MG's.

De Tomaso Pantera
The two Pantera's shown below are the last performance cars owned by me in the 90's - both imported from America. The black and gold version proved competitive around the Castle Coombe circuit on one of the many club days held there.
